ME - Alternate Resort Pick Up

No, sorry ... your only option for a DME pick up is the resort where you are a registered guest on the day of check-out.

So if you want the free DME ride, you have to get the bus at your "home" resort.

If your flight is later in the day, you'd most likely be checking your luggage at your hotel to go out and enjoy the last day. So you'd need to be there to claim your luggage, as well as checking onto DME.

Thanks for your quick replies! Now I am really confused, I thought we could check our luggage in the morning with "resort airline check-in" and we didn't see it until we got home. Do we have to claim it before boarding ME?

If you use Resort Airline Check-in in the morning, you won't see your checked luggage again until you claim it at your home airport.

However, most passengers also have carry-on luggage. Normally, you would leave carry-on bags with bell services at your resort. You would retrieve those items before your DME pickup time.

Basically, DME is tied to your resort reservation. You leave from the resort you are at on your checkout day. While your checked luggage may go on ahead of you, I'm sure you'll have carryon stuff with you. Most people don't want to carry that around the park, so leave it with bell services at the resort. You should leave the park about 90 minutes before your bus pickup time...give you plenty of time to get back to the resort, grab any bags left with bell services, and be on time for the bus.
