MDE & Room Charging Privileges

I'm less than two weeks out from my trip, already have my MBs in hand. I just had to change my CC info in MDE, which will be the card I want attached to my MB to charge back to my room. In "My Profile" then "Payment Methods" in MDE, there is a section for resort purchases and next to it says "Visit your resort front desk". Because I changed the card so late, will I now need to stop by the front desk to set it up for room charging? Or will this update in MDE and I will be good? Hoping to get streamlined check-in, and I know having your reservation set up for room charging in advance helps with this as well. Thanks!

My In-Laws had the same situation last month and did have to stop by the front desk when they arrived.
