MDE question re accounts

Hey all,

I hope I ask my question clearly....

I had created a profile for my husband under my account a couple trips ago when magic bands first came out so his AP and reservations are all under the account that I control. He has since set up his own account and when I go in to see my friends/family there's an option to "Connect through a Disney Account" if I hit that and then link his current account that he's since set up will the AP, resort reservations, dining reservations all link up to him??

Knowing Disney IT I am scared to try this LOL Has anybody tried it and did it work or should I not even bother?

It should link up, we had to do something similar last year for our trip, and just recently changed a hotel resrvation and all the fast passes & diner reservation switched over just fine. Disney has been consolidating all their different on-line/social sites so you only need one log in, My Magic Plus even linked into the our Disney Infinity X-Box game page

THanks TT77... anybody else have experience with this. Knowing Disney I'd love to hear from more people to be reassured or to be scared and run away!

All of our (family of 3) is set up on my MDE/Disney login right now. I'm worried about setting up my DH with his own login for the same reason. He's just been using my login and making ADRs and stuff as me and I think we'll keep it that way.

Yes, it will link up. You have an option not to see plans you don't share but otherwise everything can be viewed by both of you.

Call me chicken but I am too scared to click that link to invite my husband's account. so scared it'll mess up his AP, magic bands, etc which are associated to the accounts i control and made under me.

Call and ask to talk with the IT Tech support people and have them do it or walk you through.

Eta...whyyyyyy do spouses set up their own accounts when their in-house-TAs (aka spouses) already have profiles? I'm so glad DH doesn't have the time or inclination to do so.
