Has anyone else had trouble accessing the new MDE website? I was able to do it for about a week but then today I can only get on the old one. I've tried using Tumblebear and another proxy too... I've made all my FP+ and spoken to someone at WDW so my bands are sorted out...but it's now driving me crazy that I can't get on the site! :badpc:

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?...

So even with Tunnelbear you can't get on? Maybe they caught on to the work around!

Yeah I wonder. But I'm thinking also that the Disney Website in general is often messed up and it won't pull up some reservations that I have on the app either.

:confused3:confused3

When I try to load MDE on the proxy, it comes up "cannot load this page" or something similar and when I push it again, it gives me the old site.

Will keep trying. :surfweb::surfweb::surfweb:

is there a different address or something?
I can't get MDE at all, I never have been able to

Since we in Canada don't have direct access to it, you need to have IP masking software on your computer like Tunnelbear so it seems like your computer does not have a Canadian IP address.

Or if you have an iphone, you download the app, that seems to be working regardless if you are in Canada or not.

The app on my iPhone works no better than the app on my iPad ... both let me log in, but both only recognize my name, birthdate email and cell number. My DVC affiliation does not show. My address fields are blank and it won't let me update them. Based on that alone, I'm not even going to attempt to manually link DVC reservations or Dining ADRs. Just not willing to chance losing them.

My 60 day mark is in August, so guess I will need to call Disney IT again soon. <sigh>

Using tunnelbear I am still able to access the US website and my MDE app works perfectly on both my Ipad and my I-phone. The only problem with the app was I couldn't see the Magicbands I ordered, but when I went to the website the bands I ordered on the app where there. Know that my Bands are active they show up on my app.

I can see use MDE on the app on my Android and via the browser on my Nexus 10. There is no tablet app for Android yet. yes it's odd, same wireless connection but I can't get on via laptop. Oh Disney IT. :rolleyes1

Personally I wouldn't worry to much about the site not working for Canadians until you actually need it or they are 100% ready for full use. Right now they are still testing the magic bands and fastpass plus. They haven't yet opened up the site to everyone.

I agree. I'm glad that I can't use MDE here in Windsor so I don't have to worry about FP+. I talked to 2 different CMs this week because my resort is testing magic bands during my trip in August. Neither one knew we can't access the website in Canada but they were making notes to tell their managers. Anyway, they said that in the testing phase of the magic bands/fp+, Disney would never force customers to use the new system. In other words, the MDE isn't necessary yet. They can't even get the website to work consistently in the US. It'll be a while before it's ready for us.

Try clearing the browser history and cookies, then open tunnelbear and then try accessing the website.

You can down load the MDE app on your Cellphone I live in the same area and my app works perfectly and I use tunnelbear to access the US web site with no problems.
