MDE Mobile App Question

So DBF and I leave on Sunday (yay!)...I am worried about our phones holding a charge, so I want both of our phones to have the MDE App. He doesn't have a Disney account, so is it possible for him to download the MDE App and just sign-in with my e-mail/password? If so, would that mess it up on my phone if we are both logged-in on two separate phones? If this is not possible, is there a way to get it on his phone without having to set-up an account for him and link it? Thanks!!!!
