MDE & Magic Band ?s

I've just booked a 2 bedroom and a deluxe standard suite at BWV for next March to celebrate my big 60 birthday with family. Our daughter, son in law and 3 yr old granddaughter will be with us in the 2 bedroom and our son and his girlfriend will be in the suite. I am confused concerning MDE & Magic Bands. Does my son need to create his own MDE account and will his bands be shipped to him (since I was required to put his address on the reservation?) same question with my daughter and her family ( or will I do everything from my MDE for her since we are in the 2 bedroom)
I'm sure the answer is right in front of me but I can't wrap my brain around it. Thank you for any help in advance!

You can do it all with one MDE account, or each family unit can create their own.

If you go with multiple MDE accounts, you should set up all of the Family & Friends prior to linking the reservations to MDE. To use multiple MDE accounts, you will need to use the 'Invite to Plan & Share' function when you add them to your Family & Friends list. There is a 'Invite Through a Mutual Friend' tab on the 'Add a Guest' page that you would need to use to add any of your friends managed profiles.

MagicBands are shipped to one address per reservation.

Thank you for your help! It might be easier for them to have their own MDE accounts set up as we will not be together 24/7 and plan to probably spend more time relaxing at the resort. I can assume then that their bands will ship to me since I am the DVC owner?

If they were to travel to WDW on their own, having their own MDE account would be beneficial.

As for shipping of MagicBands, you will set the shipping address per reservation. The shipping address can be any US address.

I've finally had to time to sit down tonight to continue my planning (I take care of my 2 yr old granddaughter full time during the week so not much computer time for me!)

I entered my first reservation for the two bedroom suite that we are sharing with our daughter, son in law and granddaughter into my MDE. This is where I now get confused. Will my daughter need to set up her own MDE account and connect it with mine?

My confusion is..it now seems that her family's bands and FP+ will be made through my account, as they are showing up on the MDE page.
I had thought it might be easier for her to keep track of her family info on her own. So how do I separate her from my account if we are staying in a two bedroom together?

I had already decided it would be best for my son & his girlfriend to create their own MDE account-I just haven't given him the confirmation number on the reservation to enter it in yet.

So sorry for all the questions but I am confident someone in this forum can help me out..hate to spend time on the phone trying to explain myself.

I recommend that all adults have their own My Disney Experience account and that you link them through the Family & Friends section. This extends to the adults in the family. For instance, my wife and I each have our own MDE account. We are linked to each other. One of the parents will have the children under their account.

Quick story about this. Since I made the reservation for our Spring Break trip, EVERYONE was on my MDE account. It took a couple hour phone call to get my brother's boys moved from my account to his account. I also invited the adults to get their own account through my MDE. I think that automatically linked them but I don't remember for sure.

The Magic Bands for everyone will be shipped to you, since you made the original reservation. They do not segregate Magic Band deliveries. You will have to send the others' bands on to them after you receive the package.

This seems like the MDE accounts will be used for future trips as well. Is this the case?
If so, I may need to create a MDE account for each of my 27, 25 and 23 yr olds in case they ever travel without me to WDW (imagine that!)

I currently have it set up in my name and have them "invited" throu friends & family.
