MDE linking someone help!

This might be a really stupid question. I juat got off of the phone with Disney, after someone with an accent I couldn't understand didn't help me a bit. I hope one of you can help.

We are leaving soon, and last min, a family friend got a booking to go down with us. So they dont know anything about computers, and wanted to link up so I could help book their fast passes. So I accepted the request, then I saw it says:

"When you accept this invitation you'll be able to make plans and change activities for each other such as dining and fastpass experiences."

So now I'm freaked out. I am terrified she might accidently cancel our plans, and I worked SO LONG to get BOG and Navi River Journey! I went under edit for her, and said she could only view our shared plans and photos. Will that be enough to keep our existing plans safe??

It's impossible to "accidentally" cancel any FP's or ADR's. Sure once your linked and check the boxes to share info, you can make FP's and cancel FP's for each other.

If the person you linked were to happen to cancel anything of yours, it would 100% be intentional and not an accident. If you trust the person and believe they have no malicious intent, then there's nothing to worry about

Also - they will not be able to cancel your ADRs if you made the reservation. They cannot hit cancel on their end. It will say you made the reservations. Even if you allow them to see everything - they cannot cancel the ADRs you made.

I do trust this person, she wouldn't do anything on purpose, but shes one of those grandma age who does not know much at all about computers. I'm terrified she is going to be all, oh, I didn't want those things, I wonder how they got there! Let me just cancel...there we go! I see her Thursday, hopfully I can check on her end and feel a little better!!
