MDE/Linked Reserv. after Updates-Advice To All

Hello All!

I went into MyDisney Experience after all the updates at Disney, and one of the reservations that I had created had disappeared. I tried everything to link it again. This reservation was created by me, but with my adult daughter as the primary. I am paying, and had made all the calls. I had invited her a month ago to manage this reservation, she had accepted, and everything was linked.

This morning I went into MDE to check on things after the updates, and I could no longer see this reservation. I tried linking again using the reservation number and her last name. It would not link, though it did acknowledge that this was my daughter's reservation.

I was on a long hold to Disney, and thought about trying a few more things.

I went back into MDE, clicked on Family and Friends, pressed "Update" near her name, then "Save" and looked again at my plans. Her reservation was then viewable.

This is just one of many reasons we never, ever use the link friends feature in MDE

The rest of my family is strictly forbidden from ever creating an MDE account. Even though it meant DH could not plan a surprise trip for me. Too many headaches

She may have to turn on a setting on her MDE for you to do that. I recall something related to FP and sharing plans when I used to participate in photo pass shares
