MDE Friends Problems

In the past, people have commented on losing fastpasses when linking to friends. Are people having any problems with linking people as friends and losing reservations (dining or fastpass)? I wanted to check before linking to a friend. Any problems if the friend changes the reservations? Would it be better to just give them our login?

If you already have ADRs and FPs reserved, there is no reason to link to another MDE.

If you are linking prior to scheduling FPs, you shouldn't have any problems. ADRs are a separate system and linking accounts won't affect them.

Everything is already reserved. She wanted me to link her, so she can see all the reservations and know the plans. We also have one reservation on her account.

It's easy to take a screenshot of plans and send to her and vice versa. Or, just link and there won't be any problems.

You shouldn't lose any plans if you connect with your friends account. Once connected, they could change any FP+ plans that they are part of. ADRs can only be changed/cancelled by the individual that made them.

Would it be better to just give them our login?

This I wouldn't recommend.

I've seen lots of weird problems with the app. But we never lost any plans, we just had issues where FP weren't being displayed properly (either FP not displayed at all, or FP not listing all the people on it). We also had issues with linking on the app. On our trip, my brother made the original FP+ reservations, then I tweaked the times, which I could do because we were "friends". So linking to friends shouldn't cause any problems, unless your friend goes in and changes your FP.
