MDE App

I just updated the MDE app on my Android (Galaxy Note 4) and now you can purchase park tickets, make or change Fastpass from the app and also make dining reservations.

This is a nice addition in the way of Fastpass instead of having to find a kiosk.

Unless something has changed, you still need to get your 4th, 5th etc FP+ at the kiosk.

Correct I haven't heard anything about the 4th FP changing.

I wanted to get the app on my new Samsung Galaxy tablet but it said I was not using a compatible device. Dh wanted to put it on his iPhone but the app wasn't free, which was a surprise to me. In all honesty, I don't want to be dependant on our devices while in the parks, but from what I have been reading, it seems to be necessary.

It was free for my iphone when I downloaded it in early November. Are you sure you were trying to download the official disney app?

It is free so I don't know what happened there.

It sounds like you've found the wrong app. Alternatively, are you seeing the new "get" button that replaced the "free" button in the iOS App Store?

He looked again after I put the app on my phone and found the right one for free.
