MDE app is hosed up

of course. like with all software. no one posts to a message board to say "i used the app and it worked fine"

I am totally going to make a post about all of the things like this that nobody posts. "I got seated on time at X restaurant." "The app did not go down." "There was no garbage on the ground and the ladies room had plenty of toilet paper." :)

No answers lugnut. Just my sympathies. I didn't realize you were heading back. I hope you get a satisfactory answer. I'm dreading my own upcoming reliance on a shoddy IT system. :crazy2:

I have the same issue as the OP. When I log-in online, no problems. When I check with the app, my reservation doesn't show. Now, I just made the reservation a few days ago and the trip isn't until Feb 2017... so I'm not worried or anything, but just wanted to throw it out there that mine is doing the same thing.

no, the response from the DB is. a program like this looks at the db and only updates what needs to be updated based on the time stamp. if they are going out and pulling down all of a customers information each time, no wonder the thing is a POS.

This has been happening for a week or so on my app, Thought maybe it was just overloaded with christmas time but today my plans wouldn't show up on the mobile but would on the computer MY Disney Experience. I to logged out and logged in, uninstalled and installed MDE. Nothing worked. Just called WDW and they had it fixed in a few seconds. They said there is a box that needs to be checked. Castmemeber had me sign out and back in and everything is back to normal on the mobile MDE. They knew exactly how to fix it instantly.

they pull it down each time. that's why you see nothing if there is no network connection.

Are you sure the app is logged into the same account that the web browser is? Many people accidentally have multiple MDE accounts. That is the first thing to check.
It's the same account name and password I've used for over a decade. I've used both the website and the app in the past to plan and execute vacations (all the time using the same user name and password).

Looks like I'll need to call.

I ended up calling last night and they couldn't figure it out. She thought it might be duplicate accounts, but it wasn't. She asked me to delete and reinstall (which I had already tried twice), and that didn't work. Everything shows up on MDE on-line, but not showing up on the app. Not a big deal since my trip is so far away, but I was hoping they could fix it as easy as they fixed @DisneynBison

Update:
I finally called to get it resolved. Turns out my old DVC account (which I recently sold) was hosing it up. It's funny because years ago they merged the accounts so there was one single account for everything Disney, but apparently there was something special about DVC. Anyways, took about 5 minutes on the phone and now I can see all my reservations on the app.

Thanks. I got 3 days coming up next week, then a quick 4 day vacation at the beginning of May, then that will probably be it for several years.
