MDE and DVC sites showing different dates

I am a DVC member.

I booked my BLT 2022 trip at 11 months, and then manually added the trip to MDE by using the reservation number. The trip was for 18 nights starting March 12th (Saturday).

At 10 months, we decided to start the trip a day early and take some time off the back end of the trip. So, it's now 11 nights starting March 11th (Friday). The original reservation number is the current reservation number. i.e., when modifying, I wasn't given a new reservation number.

It's now more than 6 months later, and I found that MDE still has the original trip dates. I attempted to link a new resort reservation, and it says the reservation number is already linked (and doesn't update the dates). I can't locate a spot on MDE that allows me to "un-link" a reservation.

I need the reservation on MDE to show the correct starting date in order to make dining reservations in January for this March trip.

I called website technical support, and was told there was a 167 minute wait. So, I called the resort reservation line the next day. They confirmed the DVC dates are the correct dates, but couldn't help with the MDE problem. They suggested I contact website technical support and told me there was a 118 minute wait and no option to have them return call me. They also suggested I try between 7 and 7:30am eastern time. So, I called today at 7:15. This morning the wait is 163 minutes.

Other than tie up my phone for hours on hold, is there some other way I might fix this problem? Obviously, cancelling and re-booking the trip is not an option.
 
Do online check in. That should update it. If that doesn't work then try going through and modifying your guests. Don't actually change anything though....sometimes making another change will force an update. I'd do the check-in first because it's quick and easy.
 
In usual IT fashion for Disney, the two systems don’t seem to be talking anymore until you do online check in..and even a few had an issue with that.

It’s worked for me to make sure things match!
 
Chat will fix it quickly - online checkin never worked for me (I was constantly forming and reforming pieces of reservations to try to pull together a Christmas trip and was worried my park reservations would somehow disappear if the reservation and the guests on it didn't match up - not a good use of CMs' time, but it's an IT problem on their end, so :confused3).
 

sometimes it takes an overnight for the systems to get in sync. If you don't want to spend all day on hold, check in the morning to see if it corrected.
 
Either check in, or go in chat (chat fixed it for me). Dont worry the DVC version is the real one.
 
Jumping in to echo that I’ve had this bug several times and doing online check in fixed it every time.

I hope that it gets fixed for you! I'm going through the same issue and got the run around when I tried calling. I ended up sending an email and hopefully they will fix the issue. It's too bad that the two systems (DVC and MDE) don't communicate with each other.
