MDE account how do you unfriend

Last year we took a trip with 19 people. They still show up on my friends list. Will they be able to see all my plans for this year since we were linked last year? When you hit edit it won't let you remove their name because their magic bands will be inactive or something like that.

I had this same problem. First, they couldn't fix it. So on my last trip to Disney I went to the front desk and an MDE specialist person (a CM who just a lot of experience with it) fixed a lot of them. Some couldn't be removed for some strange reason. I would call Disney IT and ask them to help, they can do things on their end we can't do. I could not remove one person because the system somehow thought this person had an active dining reservation which they did not (no trips planned).

For my time I would use a different email and create a new MDE account.

Last year one of the CM's told one of our party she should make 2 accounts. Now I understand why she was told this. At the time we did not think it made sense. I think it is too late for a new account this year as I have already linked my reservations and dining. I will contact IT and see if they have suggestions.

When you click on "Edit" next to the name of one of your friends you should be able to edit whether or not they can see any of your plans on MDE.

I just spoke with IT. It was easier than I expected. They could remove the parties that had separate accounts so it would not affect their magic bands. The only one that could not be removed was the child that stayed in my room since she has a magic band and I managed her account last year. He told me since I managed her she would not be able to see any of my plans for this year.
