Hey all. I have 2 separate tickets linked to me in my MDE. One is a 5 Day non-hopper, and one 1 Day hopper. The 5 Day won't be used until November, but I'm using the 1 Day next week. Is there a way in MDE that I can assign FP+ reservations to a particular ticket that's linked in my account?? I only want to make FP+ reservations for the One Day Hopper ticket we'll be using next week for the time being. TIA!!

It doesn't matter at all.
FP+ reservations are not connected to individual tickets.

You simply use whichever ticket you want at the park gate and your FP+ will work.

HOWEVER:
To make sure that you USE the correct ticket for park entry...
You need to go to Guest Relations BEFORE you go to the park gate and have the CM
set the PRIORITY of the ticket that you want to use at the gate to the HIGHEST PRIORITY.

Robo you always save the day. :worship: So if I make my FP+ reservations, and bring the 1-Day Hopper with me to the park next week, the FP's will automatically (magically) show up? Or, if I brought the 5-Day with me theoretically, the FP's would show up on there? It's like, the one I use first is the one that has the FP assigned to it?? Am I getting that right?

1. Yes, but not "magically." Your FP+ are in a different MDE file than your tickets.
You can book FP+ simply because you HAVE valid tickets linked to your MDE account.

2. You can use ANY valid ticket to enter the park.
The FP+ are not connected to any of your tickets.
Once you are IN the park, your FP+ will be available to you.
Again, your FP+ reservations are registered in a different MDE file than your tickets.

Wow that's wacky! But, good to know. THANKS!

This may be a silly question.... my 1-day hopper is its own ticket, and the 5 Day are on its own ticket. Since they're physically two separate tickets and not combined onto a magic band, would I still need to tell them that I'm using the 1-day hopper as the top priority?

Just to keep things as clear as possible...
There are no tickets, ever, "on a MagicBand." **

But, in order to make advanced FP+ reservations, you need to have a MyDisneyExperience account.
If both tickets are listed in your MyDisneyExperience account, it is possible (possible) that
the "wrong ticket" might get used when you enter the park, even using the physical ticket.

Setting the priority for use can help lower this possibility.

Couldn't hurt.

A MagicBand just contains (and weakly "transmits") a unique serial number that is used to access the information that is stored in your MyDisneyExperience computer file.

So, even if you were to lose a MagicBand, the info stays locked in your file.

Disney can just set up a new band (different serial number)

to access the info in your MDE file.

Disney can also issue ADDITIONAL MB's to a guest and each

additional band can be used for the same purposes as the first band.

So, yes, there can be multiple MB's per person, and each of them can be used by that person.

The MagicBand works like the combination to a locked safe, or a key to a locked door.

The MB, itself, is not the file of info or the container of the info.

The MB just unlocks the file of info, allowing it to be accessed from your MDE account when needed.

 AH, got it! The lightbulb just went on- thanks Robo! :flower:
