MCO to VB

We have some time before check-in and was wondering if there are places to stop for lunch between MCO and VB? This is our first trip to VB so I'm not familiar with it at all. Any thoughts or suggestions?

It been several years since I drove to VB from OKW, but there really much of anyplace to stop along the way. Although the way things change in Florida, there may be some restaurants now.

It's been a while for me, too, but I didn't see much other than scrub grass, undeveloped land. You're about 90 minutes from the airport, so it's not too bad.

There are a fair number of opportunities to get off I - 95 and get fast food. We've stopped at MacDonald's and Wendy's during different trips.

For something a little better than fast food, and only about 10 minutes off 95 (maybe less), you could try Pineda Crossings on Rt. 1 in Melbourne, FL. Nice casual place with pretty good food. That would be a little less than 1/2 way on the trip.

Afterwards, you can either get back on 95 if you want, or head over the causeway (Pineda Causeway) and take the rest of the trip on A1A if you don't want to do the whole highway thing. I hate I-95, myself! Definitely slower on A1A, but I'd rather have some ocean views (especially where it's not all "condo'd out") than look at the sides of 95!
