It's the same price for my trip.
It was cheaper a few weeks ago for me. Last year I paid $500 CAN return for 2 people on Alaska direct.
Prices seem to have gone up quite a bit. I usually don't even think about purchasing tickets until March so I am waiting and hopefully the prices will come down a bit.
I have also flown on Southwest and AirTran. I don't mind a layover if the price difference is worth it.
