MCO to PC Bus Arrival Time

While going through a thread about upgrades here, there were a few comments about how the MCO busses don't arrive as early as they previously did. We just came back from a 3-day on the Dream, and while planning, I wanted very much to get to the port early, just for the excitement(yes, sitting around the port is exciting!)

It definitely seems like they are pushing off the departure times of the first MCO busses. I was on the first bus, and we didn't get there until ~10:30-10:45. We checked in, took our picture with Minnie and our boarding group was called(boarding group 2). No waiting around.

Keep in mind if you're thinking about getting private transportation to the port!

Curious about this as well. Was planning on taking dcl bus but won’t if we miss platinum boarding

I'm not sure about MCO but DCL told me that getting the bus from the resorts won't get you to port until close to noon or 1pm. So we're going to Lyft it to the port. If our cruise is still on that is...

I was just posting about this on another thread. It is true. Happened to us in July, and we missed our Platinum boarding. I like to get to Port early and get onboard. Previously we have taken the MCO DCL transport and been first in Port
They were taking their sweet time getting the first bus off and loading all the subsequent buses.
I am sorry they changed it, it worked so well for us in the past!!

The port doesn’t open to the public until 10:30am, so the DCL transfers are still arriving early. We are Platinum and have never arrived by DCL transfer after any boarding started. Unless you drive and park in the deck earlier than that, you’re barely going to beat anyone off a Disney Cruise Line bus.
