I have a trip planned April 2024. In the past when I have been in Orlando I used Mears to get from airport to hotel. Mears doesn't go to the new Drury.
I asked Drury what to do and they suggested a taxi service, but it looks really expensive.
Can I just use Uber or Lyft? It will be for just 2 people.

Anyone have experience with this hotel and using a service to get from MCO to there and back?

You can certainly use Uber or Lyft, did you price it?

There are other shuttle services, but shared vans have been limited since Covid.
I priced Supershuttle at $150 round trip for up to 8.
Uber is showing $30 each way right now.

Hi
I’m just back from Drury Plaza - I posted pre trip on transport and my planned solution which worked fine. We took Mears from airport to Double Tree by Hilton which is across the road from Drury - there is a cross walk and it’s not far to cross to Drury unless you have lots of luggage (we had a wheeled case each). Earlier posts cover frustration at Mears not going to Drury! this was cheapest option from the airport as Lyft /Uber from airport expensive and queuing system due to demand. Returning we prebooked Lyft XL which was $49 Drury to MCO and this was a great service

you could book one way with budget. walk down the road and drop off and pick up there at double tree. Not sure if this will help get there cheaper but you could hold onto a car for a day which is always helpful

I know you posted this a while ago but does the Double Tree have bellhops greeting arrivals outside the hotel? We got Mears Connect to the Wyndham last year so we could walk to the Drury and were super-embarrassed when they welcomed us and took our luggage before we even got out of the van. I’m trying to avoid having the same experience again in September!

No. The Doubletree does not have bellmen.
