MCO Question??

I am trying to find a cheap fare into MCO, and found Southwest has a $99 each way fare. My friend is flying in on Alaska Airlines from a different state and we are wanting to share a towncar to Pop Century. My question is how far is the Southwest baggage claim from Alaska Air baggage claim? Her flight would get in 45 minutes after mine. Would it be possible for me to get my luggage and walk to where she would be to meet the town car driver? Or is it a really long way apart? Would I have to go through security again?

You can find maps for baggage claim, live flight info, etc. There is one baggage claim for airside "a" and a seperate on for planes arriving on airside "b."

Alaska Airlines and SWA both use airside "a" so you should be fine.
