What is the cheapest way for two adults to get to and from Port Canaveral before a cruise? We're flying in to MCO, won't have a car and won't have overnight accommodations.

I'm sure there are plusses and minuses to many options, but we're looking for the most cost effective option.

For a Disney Cruise, DCL Ground Transportation is $39 per person each way. Likely will be one of the lower costs options for only two people.

If sailing another cruise line, check with them to see what their ground transportation rates are.

Uber estimates are $55 to $65 one way, but can vary based on demand at the time of the ride.

We're actually doing a 3-night Royal Caribbean cruise followed by a 4-night cruise on the Disney Wish. So Disney transport will only work for us on the way back to MCO.

Thanks for the insight on Disney transport (and possibly Royal Caribbean) being some of the likely cheaper rates.

Check with your cruise line first, as mentioned by pp, for example, DCL has its own airport transportation that you can book directly with DCL..

If your cruise line does not have transportation options, then I would recommend Mears.

It sounds like you may be flying in the day of the cruise, if you book the DCL bus it will at least give you peace of mind while on the road, if there is an accident/interstate delay they SHOULD wait on the DCL buses, but won't wait on other transportation. May be worth at least the comfort of knowing you can relax when you get on the bus instead of worrying all the way to the port.

Except the OP is going on Royal first, so I doubt they'd wait for a DCL bus.
