On our last trip we were coming into Orlando MCO a little late around 8 PM. We weren't scheduled to go into the parks the next day so we decided to get a room at the Hyatt right there in the middle of the Orlando airport.

It was so nice.

When we arrived at the airport we were done travelling for the day. Checking in was easy and we had a room that overlooked the airplanes taking off and landing. The door to the balcony was very well sound proofed and we only heard 2 jets (big ones).

Before calling it a day we went down to the terminal and checked out all the Universal, Disney, and Kennedy stores and had dinner at Chilis. Next morning we had breakfast at our leisure, then checked out and picked up our rental car.

We found that spending the first night at the airport actually took out alot of the stress we normally have with travelling. Made for a very enjoyable experience.

We also were arriving late at MCO and decided to stay that night at the Hyatt. Our flight was delayed 3 hours so arrived much later than anticipated so it was a great decision. We would not hesitate to do this again.

This is good to know. Glad to hear the planes weren't too loud. The rates didn't seem to bad, either. My parents are taking 13 additional people on a cruise in November. Everyone will need to fly in at least a day early. I would appreciate any additional comments. Thanks.

We are coming in for 8 nights at BWVs the end of Aug/beginning of September and our flight doesn't get to MCO until 11:30 pm. We thought we would just add a day onto our DVC, which we could have done without a problem when we booked, but we decided to just do the Hyatt. We see if every time we are at MCO so thought it would be something different to try, even if just overnight.

We will have options at 11:30 pm for a quick snack or drink before bed and the AAA rate gave us the same rate as shown on the site but added in 2 free buffets.

We are taking ME and they said that it is not a problem that we will take ME the next day when we are up and ready to go.
It gets great reviews on tripadvisor so looking forward to staying one night and I requested the plane view LOL
