MCO Hyatt Regency

So since United screwed us and changed our flight, we opted to switch to next morning departure from MCO and booked Hyatt Regency MCO For night before. Runway views worth it or no? I am something of an AvGeek.

You can look at the photos on Trip Advisor with a "popular mention" of runway view. It sounds like a lot of people enjoy the view.

We had a runway view once and a view that overlooked the airport. I thought the runway view was nice, but since I’m a people watcher, I actually liked looking out over the airport more. The runway view can get boring. I wouldn’t pay extra for it. We were “upgraded” to that view.

If you are an avgeek then you’ll probably enjoy the runway view. I enjoyed it but wish the rail was lower so I could sit and watch. Had to stand to see over the balcony but it was still fun to watch all the planes.

Thanks, looks like the views are largely of the parking lot with the runway beyond that. True?
