Hi - the time is finally coming for our stay at MCO Hyatt night the before we start our WDW trip!

We don't land until 10pm (hopefully not later) and I did a chat with the hotel today to confirm our late arrival and they let me know McCoy's Bar and Grill is open until 12:30 am, you can order to the room 24 hrs (I think) and - most importantly - the lobby bar is open until 1 am! 😂

Hope this info helps anyone who needs it!

I really like that Tapas thing they do at McCoys. Service is hit or miss, but we're never in a hurry at that point :-)

ETA enjoy your trip!

We've arrived later in the evening and stayed/eaten there and it was good. It sure is convenient as well! We've only stayed there twice - but both times our rooms were quiet and there was no noise, which had concerned us at first.
Enjoy your stay!

IME McCoy's service is always REALLY lacking in the later hours once everything else in the airport closes, especially if there have been a lot of passengers delayed by a major weather system. I've seen the takeout and seating queue 100 people deep at 9:30 pm when everything into the Northeast is delayed; it's not unusual in those circumstances to have to wait 45 minutes to order and then another hour to get your food. Generally tolerable for an all-adult party who can kill time at the bar, but hell on earth if you are traveling with a very hungry child.

(Most of the food court type places at MCO close at 10, but IME they tend to stop taking orders by about 9:15 so that they can clean up and close on time.)

This was our friends' experience and it wasn't even late at night. Even on vacation, I don't have that much patience. We usually eat at the food court when we stay there.

For the benefit of those eavesdropping who booked a room I should throw out this question? Is room service given some priority to reduce impact to those staying at the hotel from a sudden crowd of walk up passengers? (Answer requires having experienced the situation from a room.) Okay to also comment on the philosophical question, "Should it be?"

So one time we were there, there was obviously some kind of dance convention or competition going on, and there were like 500 teen girls and their families wandering around. We were still able to get a seat at McCoys somehow but yeah, service took quite a while.
