McDonalds in the World??

Does Epcot still have that little McDonald's stand that just served nuggets and fries? Any place else in the world that sells McD's still? AK no longer does correct?
With all the great food in WDW my mom still wants her McD's.

All McD's food has been removed from the theme parks, and the McD's in DTD is closing. The only one left on property is over by the All Stars.

The DTD McDonald's closes 4/30. After that, as noted, there will be no McDonald's available on property with the exception of the stand-alone restaurant near the All-Stars resort, which is not accessible via Disney transportation. The in-park outlets were removed last year. McDonald's partnership contract to operate at Disney has been discontinued.

Oh wow! I didn't know this. Not that I care that much we never ate at McDonalds while at Disney or at home for that matter. I prefer to call it McNasty. But anyway, why are they taking out all the McDonalds? Did something happen between them and Disney?

This is so sad, we LOVE the McDonald's at Downtown Disney, the restaurant with the HUGE "M" in the front was always a fun place to get a quick snack, my son LOVED it !!!! I just told him & he was very disappointed !!! I knew they had closed the stand at Epcot, but I was not aware of the closing at DownTown Disney, I would hate to be the one trying to remove that huge "M".

Here is the interior photo when you first walk in the door to order. Very cool restaurant !!!! It will be missed !!

The Orlando Sentinel did a story on it back in February, where it was quoted by a Disney spokesperson that it represents a shift in their sponsorships, but that they also had an agreement back in 2004, that said their relationship would eventually end and they would move on.

Nothing had to happen. One or both decided that they no longer wanted to continue the relationship.

Disney could be thinking we are trying to create a more healthful food environment and McDonald's may fit in any more or McDonald's could have decided it wasn't giving them the returns that they wanted.

Its just business.
