McDonalds Convention Moved

This year the biennial McDonalds convention has been moved...to Universal Studios on 05/04! Therefore, the WDW parks will not close early as in past years, at least not because of McDonalds!

how many days does this usually run? i was thinking of going to universal 5/3-7! how does this usually affect park attendance?

Only one night (05/04) after park closing. Shouldn't be an issue at all! Have fun!

Isn't McDonalds a Disney business partner/sponsor?

eg the burgers at Dinoland are McDonalds and also there is McDonalds in DTD.

Do they have a similar deal going with Universal Studios?

The contract Disney had with McDonalds recently expired, so they were free to go elsewhere this year.
