Ok, who else is really annoyed by this guy? I realize the commercial is doing it's job because I know immediately what the ad is for when I hear this bozo, but c'mon, that actor's character is a complete loser.

Why are they so paranoid? Why does this actor think the chicken is that important? Why is he guarding them?

I don't like any of the current McDonalds ads. They all annoy me. The "I'm Lovin' It" campaign is awful and the Chicken Selects guy needs to get a life. However - the ads are working because we're here discussing them.

Let's just agree to disagree and say that whatever they were, they were a marketing nightmare!!! I won't step foot in those stores... too many creepy images in my head. Come on, you can bring in a coupon for oil changes for $1.00 off?!?!? Sheesh!

I hate these commercials too! If I worked with that guy I'd want to scream "I don't want any of your nasty McDonalds chicken, you loser!" Why does McD's think they have to be all snarky and "hip" to sell their products? They are a classic American company, they shouldn't have to try so hard.
