When you make an ADR (not on the dining plan) and it is for a regular restaurant (not character meal or show), do you give credit card info, name, resort info? Do they give you a ressie #? I am so confused. I only have reservations for Chef Mickeys and the Candlelight Processional and know I will eat those reservations if I don't show up. What happens with other reservations---if people don't show up? Is that why it is so difficult to get advance ressies because people overbook?

But, to answer your question, only a few reservations require credit cards. Among them are Cinderella's Royal Table, the dinner shows, and packages (Fantasmic and Candlelight Processional). Enjoy your trip!
