Maybe, just maybe...lost bag

Hi all

Just happened on this board and thought it was worth putting a plea out JUST in case some luck is smiling on me

We left DLP yesterday, took the 54 to the station and on getting on the TVR our son realised he had left his bag on the 54 My husband ran back up but the bus was gone, with said bag. We alerted Explorers (where we were staying) and have contacted Dream Castle, Holiday Inn and Kyriad too, but no avail. The woman at Explorers has said we will be lucky to ever see it again, but maybe, just maybe someone picked it up and maybe, just maybe one of you may hear about it?

The bag was one of the Rock N Roller Coaster drawstring bags, containing a brand new cuddly Pluto, a black Nintendo DS, a charger, Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince and some other things. A nice bonus Christmas pressie for someone no doubt, but if anyone does hear anything PLEASE can you email me - I have enabled emails.

I will happily pay a reward if it is found!

I am so sorry not to be able to welcome you to the boards under happier circumstances I do hope you have luck in getting the bag back.

Have you tried contacting City Hall - lost property can be handed in there or did you find out if there was a bus depot you could contact?

I hope it makes an appearance, am guessing that you have tried lost and found at the bus company and city hall.

Thanks for the welcome I wish I had known about this place before, I am sure we would have picked up lots of tips! I shall certainly stay around and use the higher knowledge when we book our next trip - it is becoming a yearly pilgrimage for us at Christmas!

That's such a shame

Perhaps if you try the Explorers again and ask them to contact the bus on your behalf?

We also left a bag full of gifts behind (@ The Santa Fe) - I rang when I got back home and luckily the were handed into the lost property - I got a phonecall the next day so say it would cost 22 euro to fed ex them so hopefully they will be with us for Xmas

I'm really greatful to the hotel for their help, it didn't seem to matter that I had checked out because to them I was still a guest.

So if you give Explorers your room no/building no etc and stress that as a guest, you would appreciate some assistance from them, they might just be more helpful?.
