I wondered if anybody had some reviews of Maya Grill. I'm particularly interested in breakfast and whether you think it is worth paying extra money for the breakfast here instead of the food court. Any meal review would be handy though. Many thanks,

Claire xx

They have a nice buffet and if you eat a big breakfast, well worth it. Has mostly the "usual suspects", a nice breakfast burrito, arguably the best bacon I've had at WDW, and good coffee.
We always manage at least one breakfast at Maya each trip.

thankyou for your reply. :) Has anyone else eaten there?

My husband and I had breakfast there on Thanksgiving morning. We felt like we got in and out quicker than we would have if we went to the Pepper Market (and we didn't have an ADR.) The food was good and price reasonable (especially since we have DDE.)

We had breakfast there a few years ago and thought it was excellent. I liked it better than the dinner we had the night before. Good choices of food, hot and ready to go.

I ate breakfast there on 1/25. It was very good. I didn't have an ADR, but didn't need it. The PM was pretty full, so the buffet at Maya Grill was a more relaxing start to a busy day. The fresh fruit was really good. And they had the best sausage gravy I've ever had in a restaurant -- I'm from the South, so I know good gravy! Everything was fresh and very good. The service was great too. I used my DDE card to save 20%. With tip, it came to about $12/person.

how about dinner reviews? I think we may be staying here in May and if so I would like to try them for dinner.

I have not had the opportunity to eat at the Maya Grill for lunch or dinner but I found some reviews searching on the restaurants board...

We ate there in September 2005. It was great - I was surprised because I had also seen bad reviews.

We ate there -- decent food, not the best I've ever had. However, there was a crispy tortilla bread stick thing in the breadbasket that I'd've paid $$ for. And my soup appetizer was excellent.

We've eaten there twice and enjoyed it both times. The first time had a steak that was incredible! We'll be headed back there on our trip this January since we will be staying at Coronado for a few nights. ::MinnieMo

We ate dinner there a couple of weeks ago. We have no interest in the entrees since they changed the entrees from Nuevo Latino-style to Chops House-style. However, you can get some interesting appetizers and desserts. So that's what we get -- a couple of appetizers each and then dessert. They also have good margaritas.

We had breakfast and dinner then. Breakfast not good, dinner very good, service horrible. It took a really long time, but our dinner food was great!

We have had some of our best meals at the Maya Grill. The place is wonderful and the food is great.

DH and I ate there last December, and although the waitstaff was less than anxious to bus our dishes, we had a lovely meal. I think Maya Grill is a bit underrated - my boss ate there, as well, and she was also quite impressed, BTW. ...let's see if I can find my trip report link for ya...
