I usually go to the resort TS while Im staying there.
Havent booked Maya Grill yet - whats you recommendation? should I or no? any special brkfst, lunch or dinner items?

We ate our 1st nite meal at Maya Grill since we were staying at CSR on 9/22. We thought it was excellent. We had the catch of the day special. We had a quiet table (just me and DH on this trip) and a great server. Try the mango margarita, it was delicious!!

We have eaten there the last 2 years. We really enjoy it. I love the ambiance of the restaurant and the food is very good. Our last waitress wasnt the greatest but I have had worse service other places so no biggie.

Is it quiet there ? DS is disabled with noise, anxiety & panic issues.

A few of our stops were just too loud. The biggest surprise was Coral Reef. I thought the aquarium atmosphere would make it more peaceful and it was the loudest restaurant we ate in. I almost booked Maya but decided on another at the last minute.......but rethinking it for next year.

I have read horrible reviews on here about it, but my husband and myself really enjoyed it. The bread with the chimichurri was amazing! My husband still talks about his pan seared duck with the mole sauce.

I don't remember it being extemely loud, but it is Disney and it is a little hard to find anyplace that is quiet.

Nothing "special" on the B-fast buffet-cold & hot cereal, fruit, eggs, biscuits, sausage, ham, bacon, etc. However, the food was fresh & hot and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing when we were there.

Agree. The breakfast buffet is pretty standard (tho they have a breakfast burrito that MRs. U likes). The food is pretty good (especially the bacon) and the restaurant at breakfast is very quiet.

It used to be a "must do", when they had a very South American influenced menu (with many interestingly flavored dishes) and wonderful margaritas. Then, several years back, the menu changed to be a more ordinary chicken/steak/ribs place, although they did still have the great margaritas. I have not been in years, but am going back next March. In the past, it was always not very crowded and pretty quiet.

That's exactly what caused us to not eat dinner there any longer--the menu change. We had dinner ther 4 times under the old menu and it was a "must do" meal each trip.
I should add that we haven't been since the change, and I can't really comment on the food quality or service these days.
