May The Fourth At Hollywood Studios...

We are going to be at WDW on May 4 and were wondering if they will be doing anything special at Hollywood Studios for May the Fourth. Anybody in the know???

We will be there, too! Didn't even realize until I booked ADRs. Hoping to get DS into Jedi Training and I worry it will be super crowded! (Our ADR is 8:05 though)

I have a limited edition t shirt from a previous year and it's probably my favorite shirt! Besides some cool merchandise and a cool park atmosphere, there's not too much else going on.

Was there on May the 4th because I wanted to see the place with the walls. Expect some cool Merchandise for both May the Fourth be with you and Revenge of the Fifth. This year the first piece of Rogue one Merchandise was also released exclusively there (Force for Change Rogue one shirt). You will see a decent amount of local Star wars fans depending on the day.

Usually every year they have a limited edition pin and shirt to commemorate May the 4th be with you and Revenge of the 5ith

There were no special activities last year, and I wouldn't expect any this year.

I know nothing, but I expec there to be something more this year, since Star Wars Land is coming. But even if nothing new is there, you'll have Jedi Training, Kylo and Chewie meet and greet, First Order March, Star Wars show, Star Wars fireworks.

I will be at WDW that week, bringing my mother-in-law along...I have this day planned at MK, but I hope to stop over at DHS for a bit to see if anything fun is happening. Or, if anything is announced, I'll change our days.

If there's a special shirt or pin, you can bet I'll have to go get one, LOL!

I wouldn't expect more this year because of SWL, it's still several years away & they haven't really started promoting it yet. Last year for 5/4 & 5/5 they had a handful of special merchandise at select locations & that's it. It was a magicband, ornament, shirts, pins.

They did away with SWW once they introduced the year round Star Wars presence. SWW isn't coming back once the Land opens, as far as we know

This is sad to me that they didn't do anything special last year. I was there 2 years ago on May 4 and it was so fabulous. We did 2 special Star Wars character meals (breakfast and dinner) and the Storm Troopers were riding Star Tours with people.

There's still a decent amount of SW things to do to make a day of it focused around SW, but there just isn't any special events for 5/4 as opposed to any other day.

Just realized we will be in WDW on May 4th (actually knew it but it just clicked). We are not huge Star Wars fans but thought it might be good to head to DHS for this. We have AP's so it ok if the park is too crazy.
