May park hours

Hi everyone

Going to Orlando the week of May 14th. Checked the calendar on the Disney website and it looks like most of the parks are scheduled to close around 9pm.

However, I've seen some posts that the calendar may still update the park hours for upcoming months.

Can anyone comment or advise whether the May park hours that are posted are "final" or should I keep checking for updates.

Last year they were still updating in May. If you look up hours same time last year the parks closed much later. Im heading there the same week so I would love for Disney to get moving with the hour changes.

As CAS239 and Robo note almost daily, Park Hours are usually adjusted between 30 -45 days out. The hours will change but only Disney knows when. We arrive at the World on the 16th so I'm waiting too.

Actually it's more like mid month the month before. So if your trip is the beginning of May, it's more like 15 days out.

Or, at least, that's how it has been....maybe they've changed it lately?

I'm going the first week of May and your thread prompted me to go take a look at the hours. All of the parks were pretty much 9-9 (with DHS closing at 8:30). Sometime in the last week they pushed the closing time for MK to 10pm. It looks like they updated through May 6, so my guess is in a couple of weeks they will update the hours for later in May.

Someone posted that they updated late April hours today, so I guess they did early May, too. I'm going early June, maybe I'll get that in a month instead of mid May!

I'm headed there May 6-13. I noticed today that DHS had hours increased to 9:30pm every day I'll be there. Everything else closes at 9pm every night (not including EMH), except MK on May 6, which was increased to 11pm. I thought it was weird that DHS normal operating hours are showing later than every park. Obviously that won't stay, but I was surprised they didn't just increase hours at all of the parks while they were at it. I'm also bummed, as I was hoping for at a 10pm close at DHS on at least a few days of our trip. Oh well.

Even in June last year, the latest they closed was 9:30. I think that is fairly standard for DHS as far as latest closing. They used to have PM EMH on Friday night from 9:30-11 or 12 I think, but currently they do not have PM EMH.

Now I am going to actually correct myself because I went back and looked and I see they were all over the board in June. I see 10, I see 9, I see 9:30, I see 8...and that's all within the first week. Oops on me. And weird on Disney.

Thanks for posting this. We're there April 28-May 5 and I didn't know they had updated it yet.
