"I like that idea" too of getting our rotations similiar if we're not all going to fit at one table. I've been on two DCL cruises with tables for 10 and 14. I always travel with a "big" group! They never guaranteed we would be together but you know with Disney you have a good shot of this happening. I remember another large group also being in the same rotation with us so I know they at least can arrange two tables.

I've got 10 requesting the late seating with me. Let me know how you want to proceed and I can call DCL and get the details and how they can help with our request.

JEFF - do you want to start addding names on your web page so everyone can make sure their not missed in the final head count? Maybe one list for early and one for late?

Felicia - Be happy to add the names to the web page. I'll put the list under the "DIS Meets" tab. I think it'd be good to have one person contacting DCL so when we do a cut-off on the dining list would you mind handling the request with Disney? :)

Since I'm updating that page, I'll also put up the Palo Brunch and the Wine Tasting that rashdecision (Rob) is coordinating.

can we do anything to go to palo brunch?, are you organizing anything like this?, theres no place now throug the web so if anyone can help, we are 2 adults.

thank you!!!

and can you give me more information about visiting the rooms and what categories we can visit? and how can we part of that.

Anyone speaks spanish, because my wife, i can do anything in english but my wife !!!!!:confused3

Yes, we as a group have submitted a request for 3 groups of 14 to dine in the Palo private dining room (14 is the maximum capacity) for brunch on each of the 3 sea days. To dine in the main Palo dining area, one must reserve on the DCL web site. Unfortunately, as you probably know, there is no availability. Keep checking back on the DCL site for cancellations to come open. Also, on Embarkation day (May 15th) find out where Palo dining reservations are being taken and go there to see if there is availability. What I have heard from multiple sources is that DCL reserves 50% of the reservations for booking on the ship. Sorry, I do not speak spanish.

so you have 3 gorups of 14 people, and full.

we have to tray it at the ship or anyone that finally is not going to do it, please, think about us!!!!

and what about visit the differente staterooms?

Looking good for the wine tasting and if anyone else is interested, please PM me your name and res number. I will post a final tally of how many in the next couple of days and then send the list to the concierge. We should then be able to get the date, time, and location.
On a sad note, my nine year old son just broke his forearm in a bicycle accident and may be on the ship in a cast. His cast will likely be on for 6 wks and we have 5 wks to go! Ugggghhhh.

Sorry about your son getting hurt :sad1:

hes loving the attention at this point. Unfortunately the cast him above his elbow which makes it really difficult doing anything. Fortunately it was his left arm and not his right. I can only imagine the devistation if he goes on the cruise ship but can't get in the water or the pools.

I wonder if anyone really got a cat 12 since they have reopened cat 12 books for the 999 a person...or some of those if they did get a real 12 may still get an upgrade

Do you have to be booked via DCL to see any onboard credit? I ask because I booked with Dreams Unlimited and I can't see anywhere on the DCL site where I can see if there is any balance in my shipboard account. :confused3
We also have 2 OBC, one for booking on board and one for being early booked, neither show up on the on line info. I e-mailed customer service to ask status and they e-mailed a confirmation with the amount listed.

Both of my children, when they were younger, broke bones (Brian-wrist, Katy-forearm). We wrapped their arms up in plastic and tape. They couldn't submerge them but at least they were able to splash around a bit and wade.

Website Updates: Added some more pics to the Roll Call page: Friends of Travelbee (Martinez Family), MPS516
Updated the DIS Meet page to add DIS Wine Tasting, DIS Dining Lists and the Palo Brunch Groups.
Updated the DIY Rome excursion list to be consistent with Connie's (Travelbee's sig link)

I'm still catching up with tripodjw (Jane's) official Roll Call and FE list at the beginning of the DIS thread. If you're not on the Roll Call and would like to be, send Jane a PM, or if you can't yet send PM's you can send me an email by clicking the link on the main page of the website.

When my DS had a cast we paid a little extra to get the waterproof cast. It was great, not plastic bags, tape, etc. He was able to swim and shower. The only thing was after swimming he had to run the cast under clean water to wash the chlorine out. It was the best money we every spent, so easy. Would it be possible to have the cast changed?

:goodvibes Hi all,

We still have 4 spaces left on each of our two private tours in Rome and Naples/Pompeii/Sorrento/Positano. The cost approx 300 euros for 4 people, 150 euros for two.

Please contact me at kdavies6@cfl,rr,com if you are interested.

Thanks,
Kim

HI there,

I booked a CAT12 and received a CAT 12, we were not fussed at all as it was a last minute trip for us that we had not planned on and it was a great surprise. We are on 3 other cruises besides this Med cruise between now and Feb 2011 where we have a verandah, we are just happy to be on the cruise. If an upgrade occurs between now and when we sail, well that will just be extra pixie dust :).

I cannot wait to meet everyone!

Ella

If he still has cast on he'll have to get all of his new DCL kids club and dis friends to sign it. Bet he could get the characters to sign it too - which might make it a really cool souvenir.

Fingers crossed for pixie dust!

My dh and I will be sailing alone this trip. Is anyone interested in dining with us? We have late seating. I know DCL will group us with another group of adults but thought it might be fun to request a group of disers. :goodvibes

If you're interested send me a PM with your room # and names and I will contact DCL and have them note the request on our reservations.

Has anyone ever done this before on a DCL cruise? I'm assuming DCL will try to accomodate the request.:confused3

Hi,
Its just myself and Carl for this trip too.
We would like to share dinner with you, and anybody else who joins.
Will pm details to you. :cool1:

I will absolutely have to see about a waterproof option. That would be awesome. At least he could get in the pools and bathing wouldn't be an epic battle of wills. The idea of having the characters sign it would be sweet. The fracture was a hairline at the femoral head near the wrist so he may be able to loose the cast in 4 wks. We shall see. Did someone say they got their cruise docs! How exciting. Brings it all into focus now!
Ill post an updated list of the board names of who has PM'd me with names and res #'s. I will forward this to the conceirge but if anyone is not on the list and should be, please PM me.
