Well, Disney had better come out with some AP rates soon! I ended up buying our AP's (1 each for me & my DH ) because I guess I was somewhat "misinformed" by a Disney CM.

:rolley I was told that I
would get an Annual Passholder discount if I had an AP !

Sooooo....being new to all this and before I found the DIS I went ahead to a
Disney store an hour from my home and purchased 2 AP's .

Yay!, I thought I did good! Just after the purchase I find out I may or may-not get a discount depending on availability

What's that mean ?! But, but the CM said.....
Bottom line here is...Please train these "CM"'s to "
know " their job! I have read on so many threads how 1 CM says one thing another says another thing! I have had this happen to me when I have called more than once with a certain question.Come on already!!! Give these CM's some I-N-F-O-R-M-A-T-I-O-N !!!!! Have a trained and informative CM stay with the new one's until they know the answers to our questions! And if by chance they "don't" know the answer to a question...DON'T make an answer up ! Go to a supervisor or Cm that does have a correct answer !!!
Someone told me I cannot get a refund for my AP's even if I haven't activated them ?! I will call the store where I purchased them to find out. If I don't get the AP discount then we may have to cancel our entire stay.

It is paid in full and has been for some time, including our airfare. But something has come up that has put us in a predicament that I will need the savings we would get with the AP's to be our spending money at WDW during our stay, And if we don't get the discount we may have to cancel altogether. I may end up losing my airfare but at least I will get over $4000 back from our room and AP's.

This just has me so aggravated hearing there may "not" be discounts or I may only get a discount for a few nights. I just wish I had talked to a CM who knew what the heck she was talking about! I would have gone thru a local TA but I thought who would know more about helping me plan a Disney Vacation better than calling "Disney" itself ???!!!! Right?
I don't understand why Disney has to charge such outlandish rates to begin with. Bring down the rates and stop putting all the people thru this unnecessary madness and you know you can fill your resorts and parks all the time if you cut resort prices by a substanial amount!!!
