May/June Codes watch....

I too would like to know how you got someone to check your account or profile to see if a discount was attached.... I have called 2 times this weekend trying to do this and can not seem to get cm to even make an attempt to look... As a matter of fact, the 1st cm i spoke with on sat. am acted as if i was trying to get something for nothing! Please share your strategy! thanks

Kathy,
I just innocently called one day and said I thought I had accidentally erased an email with a discount for rooms on it and asked them if they could check my account to see if I did. My CM was wonderful and took about 10 minutes searching the system. Unfortunately nothing came up but he explained to me that it was a marketing thing with codes and they look at accounts and if they thought a code offered to you would help you to extend your stay or bump you up to a different resort or book a vacation if you hadn't booked one yet. I hope you have the luck I did but the CM can find something for you in your case : )

I think OP is going regular season, which is $99/night rack rate. At least that's what the CM told me last night when I called for myself. That would be like 24% tax.
And I hope they don't wait till the week before to release the AP codes, that will make me CRAZY!!!!

Wow! The OP really needs to call CRO & check this out!
If they're arriving in Regular Season then they are being
charged $10 + tax more per room per night - yikes!
I only know about the difference that I posted because
before CRO got a discount for me I was paying
Peak Season rack rate - ouch!
And with tax it was the $123 & change quoted previously.

Gotta watch those dates/codes/rates when booking,
sometimes mistakes happen...

I called and asked if there was a FL resident discount for May and she said that they weren't released yet, but she would check the rates for me. I said sure, so she entered my name and the resort and all of our info, just as she would if we were booking the room and she said, it looks like you have a discount attached to your name for $59 a night. I was very surprised. She said I have to book the room before 1/28 to get the discount.

Does anyone know what the AP rate was for Value and Moderate resorts for July last year? I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect.
My other question as long as I'm at it is...... I just activated my AP in December so when will I recieve my news letter thingy...OMG I am having a brain cramp I cannot remember what it is called.

Does anyone know about what the rates will be with the codes? We are thinking of going to a moderate if we are going to have to pay $10.00 a day for a fridge.

I called and ask if all my profile info was up to date. Checked to amke sure e-mail address was correct. Everything was but no mention of a discount available. I even admitted to erasing a post card e-mail (STUPID STUPID!!) :guilty: but still nothing under our name. :charac2:

Hi I was lucky enough to receive a special email code :jumping4:. My question is dh and I planned on going in Sept. due to the crowds but with the special code we are able to stay at the AK in July. If we go in Sept we may have to stay at value-moderate. Will July 2-8 be too overwhelming as far a weather and crowds?

Count me in. I'm looking for FL June codes for our trip June 19-23 at WL. Good luck! I haven't seen any past April yet. We also have the Disney Visa, so hope something pops up there as well. :cheer2:

Hi Sheka28,

The July 4th holiday is one of the more crowded times at WDW so you may want to keep that in mind. It's probably the 3rd most crowded time of year at WDW under Christmas and Easter. That said, I went once on July 7-12 and did not find it to be too bad after the holiday. I have not been on the actual holiday.

The weather in July is hot but not unbearable. I've been and didn't find it to be too bad. 80's-90's every day with an afternoon rain shower likely each day to cool things off a bit. There are plenty of places in each park (with the possible exception of AK) to get out of the heat for a while, rides, restaurants, shops etc.

You should be okay weather-wise, but be prepared for some heavy crowds around the 4th.

Sept is much less crowded. You may be able to get a code on www.mousesavers.com for that time as time goes on. :) They just are not out yet.

I am looking for November AP code. I know it's real early but thought a bump would help.
