Southwest has just put up another seat sale and anyone looking for flights for May 9 on into June can find flights for $59 each way from Buffalo.

Thanks for posting Julie!

Now, if they'd just come up with something for mid-July!

I'm waiting for November here. Just wanted to mention that I was thinking of using Airmiles to fly out of Pearson and thought I'd take a look at Westjet cost - over $500 pp - unbelievable!!!!!! I just can't understand how for a 1 1/2 hr drive to BUF we can save $300-$400 for goodnesds sake! Even checking Jetblue they are at $89 each way until the end of October. Unfortunately Jetblue has a stop-over in NY or Boston or I would consider flying with them rather than wait for SWA (the wait is a killer). So I am leaning more towards saving my airmiles and just booking with SWA again. Even if we pay full price and manage to snag a sale of DING! I have found the SWA credit a really useful way to convince DH for another trip to see the mouse LOL!

Anyway - sorry for the vent, I just wish we could have a truly competitive airline in Canada - and I thank my lucky stars I can drive fairly easily to BUF. If Canada was our only choice I doubt we would have been able to travel as much as we have.

We're saving over $500 for the 3 of us by taking SW out of Buffalo to Nashville. I know they also have specials, and it might be a good idea to wait, but I booked last night for July, because I wanted to lock in the price before the price of gas went up 50%. Their predictions on that have me scared. I hope it gets better. :wizard:

I've been checking every time my computer dings and I don't recall seeing much of anything out of Buffalo, let alone Orlando. I am going again in October and am so concerened about fuel costs affecting fares that I've already booked and paid for tickets out of Detroit ($84.00).

Oct. 05 I got $49 flights out of Baltimore. We flew so cheap it would have cost us more to drive with gas and an overnight on the road. (Add in the emotional cost of driving with 4 kids under the age of 8 and it was really a bargain)

We went last Oct and are planning again for this Oct. I think we booked early July last year. You have to be pretty religious and check the site and your DINGs everyday because the fares change so frequently.
