I can't seem to find the hours of operation and early entry days for May 2009. We'll be there from May 3 - May 6 (Sun - Wed). Anyone know what the hours will be then?

Also, I'll be travelling with a 5 year old and 8 month old. Does anyone with experience at the Blue Bayou know if it would be inappropriate to take an 8 month old into that restaurant?

Thanks so much!

The Magic Morning early entry days are Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thurs.

During your dates, there should be Magic Mornings on Sunday (May 3) and Tuesday (May 5).

Thank you so much for the info! Now, is BB worth the $$, in your opinion? I'll only be able to do early entry on Tuesday since we arrive later on Sunday. Boo! Oh well. Better than never. I wish I had more than 2 full days for the parks. It doesn't seem like enough time.

The park day hours will be on off season time, so week days should be around 8 for DL with weekend hours being till around midnight, and DCA till 6 on weekdays and 9 on weekends. Hours usually start picking up around the last week of the end month for peak season.

There are a lot of threads on here about BB and a lot of different opinions and the general concensus is that yes, is worth the money. Is the food the best? No, but it is tasty and the thing that is worth the money is definitely the Louisiana bayou ambiance. You can't beat "nighttime" crickets chirping and seeing riders go past on POTC. To make it worth your time, though, call Disney Dining to get a PS, and then get to the BB about 15-20 min or so before your reserved time and ask for a waterside table.

The food is hit or miss, but the feeling of being outside on the Bayou is the coolest feeling ever. Paying the money just for the atmosphere is worth it I think.

For us, yes, it's so worth it. We eat here as much as we can afford and I've never had a meal I was unhappy with. The food, the ambiance, the whole experience is definitely worth it for our family. :) With and without kids, and kids are definitely welcome, all ages of kids are always there. :)
