May have to postpone trip...

Well, I may have to postpone my upcoming trip. I am extremely frustrated and upset and don't know how to control my emotions. I just got fired from my job - wrongfully, might I add. There were no explanations either than "you're not happy, and you need a change". This really puts a dent in my Disney plans. I am planning on contacting my local Labor board and explaning the situation to them. The best part of the whole thing...I recorded our final conversation on tape. I know that I cannot use this in a court of law, but at least I can use it against him at the labor board. I was with the company for 4 1/2 years. It was only a serving job, but seniority really has it's perks when you work in a restaurant. I never had a customer complaint, and only had one write-up about me in my file. I really only had one more year of serving before I could work at the hospital with my degree! I am pretty upset and discouraged...never been fired before. Anyways, had to vent. I really hope that I still can make my trip in late August. I have purchased my UPH tickets, my Universal and UOA tickets, my Cirque du Soleil ticket, and an Express Pass for Universal. I almost bought airfare today - Thank God I didn't.
I know life throws things your way, and that sometimes life sucks. I just wish that I had some income coming in..at least for life's necessities. I think that the worst part is that I have 2 midterms tomorrow, and I can't even begin to study when my mind is not working properly.

That definetly doesn't sound fair!!! I think you should go to the Labour board. You can't be fired for no reason!

I really hope you can stil go to WDW!!! I will kepp my fingers crossed for you. Don't worry you will find another job!!

I am so sorry to hear this ChisJo. The loss of your job seems very unfair and I hope you are able to get satisfaction with the Labour Board. You have lots of experience that I'm sure will land you another job quickly!
