May have found our DVC contract

We are trying to decide if we should grab this contract.....100 points with 100 banked from 09 at $68.00 per point at VWL. What do you think should we grab it?

Sounds great honestly, particularly with the banked points, assuming you enjoy VWL!

Wow! Sounds like a great deal! The only thing you have to consider is if you want VWL to be your "home". I wish I could find a contract like that for BCV where we always stay It's near impossible to get what we want at BCV 7 months or less.

A couple of questions for you - is this your first DVC purchase, or do you already own points?

What is the use year on this contract?

So they already banked the current points?

If you are a new member and the UY satisfies your vacation interests then I'd say go for it!

Yes this is our first purchase

I would go for it, but keep in mind that you may very well need to add on to the contract within a short time. We thought starting with 270 in 1997 was going to be enough, lol. Little did we know...

March would not be a good UY for me, personally. We travel every year in December and that would be too late in the contract year for comfort. We travel in March, October and December, generally. Our UY is October 1. We NEVER travel in June, July, August or Sept to Florida so October is great for us.

We travel in April and Aug is this not a good use year for us?

We bought resale....not sure if we know what we're doing, but it seemed like a good deal to me...Booked our first trip for a weekend in Dec., could only get a 2 brd., so we 're taking my sister and her husband...short trip, but can't wait...not something we would normallly jump into, but stayed at Vero Beach with friends this summer and loved it...Our home resort is SSR and that's where we will be staying in Dec.

besides smaller contract generally sell for more not less. So really think you have a deal - if it is still therel.
