So, how about May? Is it during value season? What is the weather like? Is it crowded?
TIA

AdventureGuru,

We were there this past May 06 for the first Star Wars weekend. I thought the crowds were manageable, we had long waits for Space Mountain but while the older kids were waiting in line, I took the little one on Buzz about 12 times!! We walked right on some rides! THe weather was awesome, warm around 85 to 90! Loved it! Would love to go again for Star Wars, what fun!

Have fun!!

May is such a great time of year (you can see by my signature that we always go then) that I almost don't want to write it down for all to see here & cause a HUGE crowd increase in 2007!!

The different resort classes follow different pricng schemes. For the value and moderate resorts, you ae in "regular"--not the best, not the worst, pricing, if you check in before May 23 (your price is defined by the day you check in.) It's "regular" all of May in the deluxe resorts.

It's been reported on this board that Star Wars weekend is up in the air this year...though I have also seen that it is invovled in one of the year of a million dreams sweepstakes. Don't have a date.

I camped in a tent at FW in early May this year, and the parks were great, as was the weather, excpet for one day and night that was very hot...

hmmm...ok...how about november?

Th weeks right before and right after Thanksgiving week are great in terms of crowds--thanksgiving week is a nightmare, and the first week of the month is iffy.

Weather is completely unpredictable--I hvae tanned and shivered on the same trip!

There are at leat three major holiday events going on--at MGM, Epcot, and MK--that you should plan around...if you like Christmas!!!

We went last year towards the end of May first of June and the weather was perfect. Not to hot, just right. We left on June 3rd, and you could tell the temps were coming up. All week it was mid 80's that last day it jumped in the low 90's.

Were going again in May to avoid the peak summer crowds and Peak summer heat. :thumbsup2

ok what events? you've totally confused

I'll answer this: MGM has Osbourne Lights Nov 13 on.
Epcot has Food and Wine festival until Nov 12th and they
will have candlelight processional at end of Nov
MK will have the MVMCP starting Nov 13th

Just got back for the week before Thanksgiving. VERY light crowds. Weather wonderful!
