May crowd calendar

We are currently booked for the 3rd week of May, checking in the 15th. Dads has that week listed as high crowds. Around here schools are still in session until the 19th or so. Is there any reason this week is likely to be more crowded than the first week of May which he has listed as low crowds? Are a lot of kids getting out of school earlier than May 15th?

My daughter and I are arriving on the 14th of May! The crowd calendar on Undercover Tourist shows that week at 4 or 5 (moderate) out of 10. I think the weather should be nice and if we arrive to the parks early morning we should be fine. Have a great time!!

It will be crowded but not miserable. Many more schools will be out by then Vs. the first week in May--also more colleges. Schools that ARE still in session have senior trips during that time. Weather is LOVELY and with rope drop you should be fine!

Many universities and colleges finish around mid May, so crowds steadily rise from beginning of May through mid June.
