I am going to ask anyway. My youngest DS is 2 and will turn 3 in July. We are going to be in Disney May 27-June 5th. Do I need to bring his birth certificate in case a cast memeber questions his age? How many of you with 2 year olds bring their birth cert? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I had the same fear last summer when we went one month before my daughter turned 3. I brought a copy in my backpack but never had to get it out. Nobody even questioned me. I brought a copy just in case!

I'm leaving in 3 days ( :cool1: ) with my DS who is 2 years old. He'll be 3 in August but is VERY tall. EVERYONE always guesses his age to be 3. I'm bringing a copy of his birth certificate so there's no questions as to his age. Not a big deal, just a folded up piece of paper in my back pocket or the backpack -- definitely worth it for my own peace of mind! :thumbsup2

Chances are they won't ask and if they do, they'll accept your word, but I always brought a *copy* of DDs birth certificate when she was little and we were traveling - it's only 1 sheet of paper to carry and that buys you peace of mind that you can deal with if you are challenged at WDW, the airport, whatever......

I agree with all the previous posters...

We traveled to Disney when DS was 18 mo. I brought a copy of his birth certificate mostly for the plane trip where I figured they might want to confirm he was under 2yrs (he was a lap rider on the plane). No one ever asked to see it...but I will bring it again along with DD's this time. It is a piece of mind thing.

Have a GREAT trip!

Hi
My DD turns 3 while we are at Disney, May 5th. They said no biggie, obviously next time we will be paying. They were pretty laid back about the whole matter. Infact, they were thrilled she would be at WDW for her 3yr old birthday.

dd 2 will be three at the end of June but very tall and talkative. I was not going to bring her BC but know maybe I will just incase. Like other posters said it is just a piece of paper. Yep Im bringing it. going to make a copy when I get home.

"Newbie Moment"

This is wierd but when I booked the trip I was more worried about dd 5 who will turn six when we are there. Then found out that the being 5 or 6 does not matter

They won't ask you for it, and they'll take your word. So don't worry if you forget it! But make a photocopy of the birth certificate and keep it with you, just in case. :thumbsup2
