May 7th Western....

Really disappointed to find out that on our upcoming Western, there is no showing of Hercules (last performance April 9).....Instead, there is a juggling act.....

On the 7-day, I would really expect to see 3 big time Broadway quality shows...

In my opinion Hercules was no where near broadway quality, or even Disney quality anyway. I am happy its no longer going to be on our cruise and that we have a magician there this time!

I have to agree with the previous post - we missed it on our first cruise and we were somewhat disappointed about it. On our recent Western we were looking forward to getting a chance to see it - missed it again because we were delayed in tendering to the ship in Grand Cayman. There was a "Repeat Performance" offered during the day on our at sea day. Great (we thought) we'll get to see it after all - much anticipation built up - ugh!!!! We had heard and read so many good things about it - but for me I thought it was pretty bad - the jokes weren't that funny - the acting and signing not up to what I would consider Disney show caliber. Anyway, just my opinion.

i am not happy with not seeing the hercules show- some may not have liked it but i would have prefered to judge for myself

I'll take Herc over a couple of jugglers anyday...I've just never been a big fan of DCLs brand of comedy/ventriloquist/juggling acts...a little too milquetoast for my taste....just slightly disappointed that there are only 2 "big" shows on our upcoming Western----Granted, Herc was not up to the Broadway standard set by Disney Dreams - But it was sure cute, fun, and nostalgic to see it over and over......and you cant deny that the choreography was first rate....

IMO I think a juggling act is more fit for a 730-815 cabaret show .....
