We have switched our plans from February to May for our first trip to the Land. We would like to arrive on May 5th but are a little concerned about this being "Bats Day." Anyone have experience with this? May 5th is on a Sunday. Would they have "Bats Day" on Cinco de Mayo?

Sounds like a wonderful day to be visiting the parks!!!

Our last trip overlapped Bat Day. No impact to the overall touring plans, just a few more costumes around the park. The participants all seem to be respectful of the families in the park and I didn't note any problems. My wife and I had fun trying to find our favorite goth costume.

They do try to hit the HM at a certain time (I think it was around 7 or 8), so as long as you avoid that, I can't see any problems.

Enjoy.
