We will be boarding the Fantasy, for the 1st time, on May 30, 2015! We are celebrating our oldest sons graduation from college. We are very excited!

We should be good now. All FE families should have their lists and the FE groups are closed. If anyone comes by after this time, they may be able to exchange with other new cruisers. It will be up to anyone new to agree to group together. I can certainly facilitate, but you may only have a few cabins.
Remember, even if you are not in the FE, stop by the Meet and Greet in the Tube at 2PM embarkation day. I made wristbands for anyone who would like one, 400 of them.
Less than 6 weeks now, WHAT! I'm so not ready with my FE stuff.

This thread is a little overwhelming to me! However, we booked our first ever cruise yesterday and will apparently be cruising with all of you on May 30th. I feel like I've stumbled upon an underground world that I never knew existed! We are disney world fanatics but total novices to the cruise side of Disney. I'm researching everything and doing my best to be prepared to board this amazing ship in 35 days!!!!!

We would like to participate in the fish extender but not sure how to get "in". I'll wait for someone to take me under their wing!

No, we can start another group, but it will just be made up of the cabins that sign up from this point on. I could also ask the other groups if they want another cabin included in their group, but many have already made their gift. If you are allowed to join an existing group, there would be 13-15 cabins with 50 or so passengers. You would need to gift each cabin at the minimum. Most gift each person(more for the kids most times) and then a gift for the whole cabin. Lots of info in this thread in earlier posts and elsewhere on this site. I'll let you know if others chime in. Hopefully we can get something worked out, I don't want to leave anyone out.

Okay! I would be happy to go with an existng group or a new one. I know I don't have a ton of time to put gifts together but I've already been looking into that. Do I gift every day or just one day during the cruise?

Hi everyone we (Wayne & Lyn) just booked today,this will be our 12th Disney cruise and 2nd on the Fantasy. Can hardly wait to meet everyone.

Unfortunately, all the existing groups are full.
We could make a last minute group, but it would just consist of you and anyone else that wants to join from this point onward. I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if anyone else asks to join. From my previous posts, there are other ways to contact me so I can copy you on the full cruise roster.

As for gifting, when or how often you gift is up to you. Some give all their gifts on the same day and are done. Others may spread it out. If you have several small gifts for the same cabin, you can spread it over a couple of visits or more, but that would be your choice.

Patricia, I can only confirm for the week of May 30th. The person running the FE for your other date will need to confirm your participation on that cruise. Also, there has been an update on your FE group, another cabin joined right after you to fill the group out. Please refer to the spreadsheet.

Good news for any new cruisers, we are opening up a 7th FE group, called PETER PAN.
Already a couple of families in, including LMD65.
Let's get it up to at least 10 families, so if you were sitting on the FE fence, come one in. It's a lot of fun.
With the smoking hot rate for MTO released today, we could see a flood of new families.
First - if that is you - Thank you for your service!!
Secondly, join a FE.

Smoking hot MTO rate is definitely not an exaggeration! We are Wayne and Trisha in our late 40s. I'm an air traffic controller at Patrick AFB which is a bit south of Port Canaveral and Trisha runs her own quilting business. I watched the Fantasy sail over the horizon Saturday and wished I would be on her and now I will be! This is our 3rd DCL cruise, all on the Fantasy. I doubt we will participate in any events as we cruise to have no agenda.

I am happy to answer or try to answer any questions anyone has on the area.

I'm not an obnoxious Gator fan at all. I have to check my schedule but having drinks sounds good to me. We have not been to the Port in quite awhile for dinner/drinks. I drive by a couple times a week as I also work in the control tower on Cape Canaveral AFS. Seeing the ships ALWAYS makes me want to book a cruise.

Jeff, where can you see the fe list (peter pan)? we have done fe before and enjoyed it, if there are 10 to 12 rooms in such a short time we could handle it, but anymore would be really hard to handle.

Shoot me an Email at fsu88@bex.net and I will email you a copy. It's on a spreadsheet and I dare not post a link to it so I will need to send you the file. We have over 80 cabins and a spreadsheet is the only way I'm keeping track of things.
Right now we have 4 families in the brand new FE group of PETER PAN.
