I'll be enjoying the magic with my DH and DS-13 and DD-9....anyone else out there going with kids their age? My son was interested in talking with fellow teen cruisers!

We will be on the May 3, 2003 Magic. Cruisers are myself (42), DW (43) and DD (7). Sorry no teenagers! This will be our third DCL cruise but our first 7 day (Wonder '00 & '01).

Can hardly wait!!!

HI!

Mom (73), my DS (7) and I (47) will be on that one also! Poor DH can't come this time.

Hi to you all,

Jeanette (29) and I (32) are also going on this cruise. Sorry, but we don't have any kids.

Counting the days before we can leave for Florida.

Greetings from Holland,

Hans

Hello hans_jeanette!

Now we have an iternational DIS representation for our cruise.

Anyone else doing WDW before or after? We didn't like going straight to and from the ship to the airport so we are doing two nights prior and one after at the Contemporary. We got a great rate by booking through the Shades of Green.

Hello CSX2,

We will be in Orlando one week before and one week after the disney cruise. In these two weeks we will certainly visit WDW for serveral days. Until now we haven't decided yet exactly on which days this will be. (didn't decided yet which disney hotel we will take) We for sure are going to visit the animal kingdom, magic kingdom and MGM. We also want to visit one of the disney waterparks.

Count us in!!! Myself, DH, DD (10) and DS (6) we will be celebrating his 7th Birthday the first night on board.
I'm getting so excited. After Christmas it will be here before we know it!!!

We hope to do a few day before in Disney.

I'll have a b-day cruiser too...my DS will be 13 right after we get home....so we're gonna celebrate on board. Can't wait!!!!

We are driving in the morning we cruise, so we won't get to play in the parks.

No teens yet???

We have two birthday's in May - Mine (5/19) and my son (5/26). And let's not forget "Mother's Day"!

Since DH couldn't come with us, we decided to sail before then.

Can't wait!!!!

Wow! Just noticed the number of DCL cruises in your signature line!!! Will have to bug you for info on excursions etc.

Would you believe that I just take off on my own and not do any excursions?! I had some planned for the Western in September, but that didn't work out.
I know people who rave about certain ones - Captain Marvin's, Nikki's for horsebackriding, DCL's trip to St. John, etc. I'd suggest putting in a thread about which one you were thinking about and seeing what the response is. Remember everyone has an opinion and you need to do what's best for you and yours.

See you in May!

Hi everyone! We'll be on the May 3, 2003 Eastern cruise too! It is myself (34), my best friend from Houston (34), and 3 of her friends (all 30 something range)! It's a girls only trip and we're leaving the husbands at home! Can't wait till then, and yes, it will be here before we know it! This is my friend and I's 3rd Disney Cruise, although it will be a first on the 7 day. Her friends have never been before, so it really should be interesting. The ship will never know what hit them! Hope to meet ya'll on the ship. :bounce:

Hi Michele - Welcome!
And girl, I envy you the "girls only" cruise! Hope they enjoy it as much as you and your bf!!

Now that I think about it we chose to go off on our own in Nassau after doing a shore excursion the first trip and had a better time! When I used to travel in the Navy I learned that going off on your own vice the pre-planned tourist events usually proved to be much more rewarding. I'll start doing some research on our ports-of-call.

See you all there!

CSX2 - Navy, ehh?
Air Force here! 6 1/2 years for me and over 22 for DH.
I loved it! Texas, California, Korea, Italy and TDY's to Sardania, Germany, Spain - Offutt AFB, NE was my last duty station. Tom was in Michigan, England, Greece, California, Maine and Grissom AFB, IN was his last duty station and that's where we stayed.
But I love to travel and thankfully, he does also!
And you are correct about going off on your own, the military service makes one more adventuresome (in my opinion) and a smile with a phrase book can break through most cultural barriers.

I never cared much for St. Maarten but St. Thomas is beautiful!
