May 28, 2009 Wonder Cruise - Anyone Else?

Ok peeps...only 98 days 11 hours and 30 minutes until May 28th!!

I am soooooo ready for a vacation!!

Well, we won't be joining you for the May 28 sailing. We lucked out and got 2 Cat 12s on the June 13 Magic Western. Hope you have a WONDERful time!

I think we are going to the Pirate Museum that morning in Nassau and then spending the day on the ship. Since it is only a 3 day and our 1st cruise EVER, we want to have time to explore the Wonder and enjoy her.

We are planning on doing the Pirate museum as well. Still trying to decide what to do with the rest of the day.

We'd like to participate also along the simple lines as you stated in another post. This is our first cruise so I don't want to be overwhelmed. It will be DH, myself, DS (11), & DD (6) - she has a nut allergy.

Is anyone staying at disney before the cruise? We are going down on 5-26 and staying at AKV. Has anyone made reservervations for Palo? DH and I want to have alone time but can't decide how to fit palo in and the other dining rotations. Any suggestions? we have the late dining.

PS. liveforchristp1 I am from Cleveland TN (right ouside of Chattanooga). What city in Tn are you?

We are driving down on Memorial Day and staying at Shades of Green for 3 nights. We are going to go over to Fort Wilderness that first evening and enjoy the campfire/movie. Then I think we are doing HS on Tuesday and MK on Wednesday (my birthday).

I don't think we are going to do Palo. This is our first cruise so I don't want to overschedule (I'm very bad about that - I like to plan).

If you're in Cleveland we are practically neighbors. We are right outside Chattanooga and work in downtown. We live about 15 minutes down 24W headed to Nashville, a bit out from everything but still close enough.

Anyhow..wanted to update everyone of Fish Extender...here is who is participating so far...

Like I said before..nothing elborate. I figure we can just do one FE gift for the enitre cruise. What I mean by this is each member will do a FE gift for each of the participates in the FE exchange for one night of the cruise. You can choose what day you want to distribute. Is that ok with everyone? Some do a FE exchange for each night of the cruise, just think that is too much! I am completely open to suggestions!!

Hi Ami! We are first timers are well. Haven't quiet decided on the attire for the pirate party yet. DS has full pirate garb that he wore to the pirate & princess party last year but I think it might be two hot...definately the bandanas but not sure yet what else. I know DH probably won't dress up much more than to wear a PIRATE t-shirt.

You can find them on ebay and put in fish extender as your search. 18 pulled up when I last looked. You can also find fairly simple (even no sew) instructions on the disboards under another fish extender thread. Count us in for the exchange also please.

Hi everyone!

I am excited and goofydad is getting there. The only trouble is we aren't telling the children. They don't have a clue!

We are planning on spending the night in the World and then driving to the port the day of. When we arrive back we will go back and spend 6 days in the world. We have to get a little in.

We still don't know how we are going to tell the children.

We are undecided on our excursions..........
