I am so excited, My DS (11 turning 12), my DH and myself and maybe a friend if she doesn't back out will be sailing the 28th on the WONDER!!!!! Feel free to pm or respond, I love meeting people especially people who love DISNEY!!!

My DD will be 19 by the time we sail. We are really excited. This will be our third cruise. We were on the DVC member cruise 2003 & 2005. We are planning the mommy daughter thing once a year on the DCL. My friend and her DD15 will be coming with us and will be their first cruise.

MISSALLEN, where are you located at? We will be heading to Cocoa the day before the cruise. Hope to meet up with some other DISers.

I am in Fort Riley Kansas. We are planning to drive to Florida, because we love road trips. I will be arriving at orlando the day before the cruise--not planning on staying in cocoa beach. I will have to drop my dog off at the kennel the morning before so thought it would be best to stay in orlando. I do hope to meet you and your friends. I am just so excited. I return from Iraq in Feb, and look forward to planning my excursions. Oh since you have been several times, do you know anything about the snorkeling. My son can swim but not a strong swimmer, and my friend that is coming with us can not swim at all (but is not afraid of the water), will we be able to go on a snorkeling excursion? Well I have to run need to get back to work, but please stay in touch and I really hope I meet you there.

Don't really know anything about the snorkling, DH is a scuba diver, but me and DD do not participate. We are good with the swimming. We have done the Banana Boat ride at CC and love it. What are you doing in Iraq? Will definitely stay in touch and hope to catch up with you in May. Hopefully we will see others log in to our date and maybe we could do some kind of meet on the ship. Hope to hear from you and others soon.

I am deployed to Iraq. I am in the Army and working in the medical field. Although it keeps me away from home, I think that I have made some difference there so I'm happy with this deployment. I agree maybe we can do a meet on the ship and maybe chat. I will keep in touch as much as I can. Some days I have a lot of time to get on the internet and sometimes I will not be able to get on for a while. So if you don't hear from me, it's because I am unable to get to a computer. But I will stay in touch. Take care and talk with you later.

Hi -
This is our first cruise. (One of many if everyone does well!) We are doing the Land & Sea package starting on May 25 at WDW and staying at the Animal Kingdom resort. Then it is on to the cruise!
We have 2 DD, ages 8 and 10. Your trip with your daughter sounds so wonderful! I hope to plan these kind of trips with our girls in their teen years. My Mom and I went on many GO (girls only) adventures and they are life time memories to keep.
I've been researching this site and finding SO much information. It's great to have this new world open up to us.
Looking forward to meeting DIS folks on our trip!

Hey Dee! I think what you do is very important and is very much appreciated by myself and my family. Thank you. My husband is with the FL2 DMAT team here in Florida and was at Ground Zero for two weeks. Hope we can stay in touch between now and May 28. I am counting down

Kerry, you are going to have so much fun. This will be our third cruise on the Wonder and I am just as excited this time, if not more, than I was the first and second time.

I don't know about you two but I am so excited about the cruise. I think of it often and just can't imagine how I will act when I get my documents in the mail. I am down to my last payment on the cruise which I hope to pay off 1 dec. I can't wait. I hope all goes well with Wilma--lets just hope she passes by without to much problems. I will keep you in my prayers, and please stay in touch.

Hey MISSALLEN it was good to hear from you!! I feel the same as you, am counting down the days I am lucky to have made friends with one of the CM's from the Wonder and get to talk to him on Thursdays and Sundays, helps with the countdown. Well, I am waiting for Hurricane Wilma to finally pass and be gone, will be feeling the effects tonight and tomorrow We will be heading to Orlando on Friday for Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party and Animal Kingdom Hope we can stay in touch and can't wait to meet you on the cruise.

Sorry, I've been out of town and going through Disboards withdrawal. Just saw these messages.

I am in New Mexico, so we won't be affected by Wilma. Not unless she likes to go way inland and up into the mountains! Where are you at? Hope you stay dry and hang on tight!

My whole family is very excited about our cruise. We've always wanted to do this and so it is wonderful to finally book it, plan it and day dream about it.

Hey Kerry! Sorry it has taken so long for me to get back in touch. Lost power for a couple of days with Wilma and then were in Orlando from October 28 to October 31 for the Halloween Party at Disney and taking my husbands grandkids to Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. I am in Southwest Florida/Cape Coral. They had a great time with the mouse

My DD and I can't wait for the cruise This will be our third and I think I am just as excited about this one as I was for the first one.

Can't wait to meet up with you and Dee. Hope we will have some more people checking in with us. Keep in touch!

I am so sorry that I have not been on the board but so much is going on here. I just finally had a chance to get on the board tonight, thought I best email you all to let you all now that I'm glad that Wilma did not affect you all to much. I'm really tired with all the missions, but keep thinking of the mouse so it helps.
I will try to stay in touch but the next 90 days between mission we are preparing to return home so it may be a little tough. Just Know that I think of the Dis members often and so glad that I found this board.
Peen--you have to introduce me to your CM friend. well I have to run. Hope to talk with you all again soon.

Well, we're just sitting here suffering through the .....long wait..... until we get to go cruisin'. It's seems like it's going to take forever to get here and then *poof* the trip will be over! yikes!

I can't wait and it's going to be a long 7 months!

Do either of you know how you put one of those tickers on your signature? I created one, but then couldn't figure out how to put it on here.

I know how you feel Kerry, it was that way for our first two cruises. Seemed like a lifetime to get here and then "POOF" it was over. I don't know how to do the tickers either. If you figure it out, let me know.

Hope some more people from the DIS Boards will be joining us!! Either way, can't wait to meet the both of you. At least the next couple of months will go by pretty quick with the holidays. Talk to you soon

let me see if I can help you out.
1. Go to the Private message that is in the top right corner under you screen name
2. Select edit signature (located on the left side of your screen)
3. once that screen is open, place your courser where you would like for your ticker to appear (make sure that you have your URL for your ticker written down, I just make mines and just cut and past)
4. go to the box that have all the icons, select the square that look like mountains and a sun (if you roll your mouse over it, it will say insert image)
once the URL box open just type in or cut and past your ticker. Please pay close attention-it took me forever--the http:// is already in the URL box and silly me-was pasting it again--so don't do that.
5. make sure you select preview signature--because the ticker may not be in the location you want it, then just adjust your curser and start the process over or just enter until you get it where you want it. Once you like it then save the signature. I hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hey, Petenboo! Did you get my message? I was wondering how you did during the hurricanes. Glad to see that you are okay!

We may very well be on this cruise after all. We originally planned on going for my daughter's 21st birthday in April but my son can't go then. He also has all his AP tests in the beginning of May so it looks like we might be going on this cruise.

We hope to spend the week before the cruise at Disney World and then the boys are flying back home (my son can't miss that much school) and then Breezy and I hope to do the 4-day!

I haven't worked out all the details....and I have to find out when Prom is...but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I appreciate the detailed instructions for the ticker!

My daughters and I made up our ticker and then could not figure out how to put it in our signature line. The worst part, is that I am a Web Programmer and should've been able to figure this out.
