May 26, 2010--5/26/2010 10 Night Mediterranean

Got this from the Concierge.

Character Breakfasts will be at 8 am for main dining and 9:45 am for 2nd seating

Rotation 3 as shown above all character breakfasts (both main and 2nd seating) will be on the 2nd sea day. Rotation 2 main seating the character breakfast will be held on the 2nd sea day. All other rotations except as noted above will have their character breakfast on the 1st sea day. Note: This may affect some people who are planning to do brunch at Palo so you may want to make requests.

I am still working with the concierge on the wine tasting and hope to let everyone know something today.

Thanks so much for all your hard work! Lots of good information there. Looking forward to see what the wine tasting schedule looks like!
Thanks again!!!:thumbsup2

Show Schedule (note subject to change)

1st night - All Aboard
2nd night - Let The Magic Begin
3rd night - Twice Charmed
4th night - Variety Entertainer
5th night - Once Upon a Song
6th night - Movie night
7th night - Variety Entertainer
8th night - The Dream Goes On
9th night - Villians Tonight
10th night - Disney Dreams

I think there's an error in the first two. The 1st night should be "Welcome Aboard: Let the Magic Begin". That's the typical welcome aboard show. The second night would be the formal night with "Twice Charmed" as the show. Might check back with them on that.

Thanks Dance! I just added it to the website on the "home" page!!

Could our cruise be sold out? I just checked the DCL site and only the May 15th cruise showed up with availability.

I called DCL this morning to add my dining rotation and I asked about availability. Looks like it is just about sold out. CM said only a couple of cat 12's available and a couple cat 4's!!

Thanks for your input Jeff! Yes, you are correct on those first 2 nights. Wonder if we will have a Crew Talent show like on the first 11 night Med. BTW, you have an incredibly chatty and friendly cruise group! I try to read your May 15th thread to catch any pearls of wisdom but have a hard time keeping up!

I would think they'd do the Crew Talent Show. Yes, we have a chatty and friendly group on the 15th cruise and it continues to grow even though we're less than two weeks away from sailing! I try to catch the "pearls" and put them up on our website so I (and others) don't have to skim through all the pages to find them. :)

When do we find out what rotation we have as far as eating is concerned? Also, do we have to sign up for the character breakfast or just walk on in?

Thanks!

For those of you who have yet to purchase travel insurance (like me!) I called the Trip Insurance Store today to finally purchase ours and good news, Travel Insured is now offering coverage for the volcano again! This is Travel Insured World Wide Protection Plan. Just thought you would like to know. Now, I have much more peace about this trip.:cool1:

Hey Deb,

I believe you will get this information in your stateroom. Your dining rotation will be listed as well as what character dining you have been assigned to. You can make changes to this by going to guest services onboard.

I am so stressed out. I am not sleeping or getting anything productive done. I really need a vacation. LOL>

I am a good procrastinator. I have been putting off all kinds of things and now before leaving I have some major projects to do! Like designing and overseeing construction at our ranch house, and having some major dental work done! :scared1: But I work good under pressure! Just don't want to leave the packing till the last day as that's what really stresses me the most! Only problem now is that I got back on my diet and started a workout routine again and my clothes are getting loose! Might have to shop for some new clothes right before the trip or get some things altered! Yes, I'm a diet procrastinator too! :rotfl:

For those of you staying at the new Novotel, has your credit card been charged yet if you did the lowest rate? I thought I did the lowest pre-pay rate, but have never been charged.

No, we have not been charged yet either. I emailed the manager at Novotel to confirm we indeed have a reservation, which she confirmed and our card will be charged when we check-in. I think it is being handled more like a credit card guarantee and Novotel will charge your card no matter if you show or not.

I found this forum while trying to find dining info for this cruise. My list of questions is growing, so I'm so glad to have found you all! :) We are a military family living in Germany, and this is our first cruise. We have 2 boys who are 7 and 2. My husband gets home from a 4 month deployment soon, and this cruise is our reward! We are so excited!

I'm going to do some more searching before asking my questions, but I wanted to introduce myself first!
