May 24-May 29th Who's going?

We were planning on going to Disney World May 24-May 30th. I just realized the gay week is May29-June 4th. Would this be a bad time to go? We have children between 7 years up to 12 years old. Has anyone been at this time and how bad is gay week?

We are going 05/25-06/02/07. I'm planning to stratergize around gay days like I would any large group--that is, avoid the "Gay Days" designated park. From what I've heard, it's not a big deal. Have a great trip!!!

We went in 2005 during that very same time frame, and saw absolutely NOTHING concerning gay week that was remarkable. The crowds were pretty bad, but I think that had alot to do with Memorial Day Weekend.

We'll be there again this year, same time.

We've been before during Gay Days. Since it's the first week out of school we love going as soon as possible. Didn't have any problems, except trying to explain to my children situations. Good lesson to learn - all people are different. The only thing I would recommend it avoiding the park on their designated day. I don't handle crowds well & try to avoid ALL crowds if possible.
